Responsible Use

Use PayStub Express only for accurate, authorized records.

The generator is designed to organize legitimate payroll information. It must never be used to misrepresent income, employment, deductions or payment history.

Acceptable use

Use real source records

Enter information supported by authorized payroll, timekeeping, accounting or payment records. Confirm names, dates, rates, hours, earnings, deductions and year-to-date totals.

Review every calculation

A generator can organize entered data, but it cannot determine whether an input is truthful, complete or legally compliant. The user must review the finished document.

Protect sensitive data

Share payroll documents only with authorized recipients and follow applicable privacy, retention and security practices for personal and financial information.

Prohibited misuse

Do not use PayStub Express to fabricate employment, inflate income, alter taxes or deductions, impersonate another person or business, support a fraudulent application, or create any document intended to deceive a lender, landlord, government agency, employer or other party.

Not professional payroll advice

PayStub Express does not replace payroll software, an employer’s official payroll process, a tax professional, accountant or attorney. Federal guidance is available in IRS Publication 15 and Publication 15-T. Employers should also review applicable Department of Labor recordkeeping guidance and state requirements.
